Meet the Author! Ness Book Fest is delighted to host local Author LD Lapinski. 

LD Lapinski is the two-time Carnegie Medal–nominated author of bestselling fiction for children, including The Strangeworlds Travel Agency series and graphic novel KICKFLIP, as well as the critically claimed speculative adult novel Some Body Like Me (Gollancz, 2025). They live in Ross-Shire with their family, a lot of books, and two illiterate cats. You can find LD on both Instagram and TikTok.
