Description
Join us for a fun and eco-friendly workshop where you'll learn how to create beautiful, reusable fabric Christmas crackers. This sustainable twist on a classic holiday tradition allows you to craft crackers that can be enjoyed year after year, reducing waste while adding a personalised touch to your festive celebrations. They can even be used to decorate your tree or just as gift wrapping.
During the session, Sheila will guide you through selecting fabrics, sewing the cracker shape, and adding decorative touches like ribbons, buttons, and other decorative materials. A sewing machine will be used to create the body of the cracker.
Feel free to bring along any surprises you want to put inside, such as small handmade gifts or festive treats or even a miniature of someone's favourite tipple!
Perfect for all skill levels, this workshop is a great way to enjoy a creative project while embracing the spirit of sustainability. By using fabric, you can avoid the single-use paper waste of traditional crackers and create something truly unique and long-lasting.
Light refreshments are provided.
Over 12 years can attend with a participating adult.
