Mindful Mandalas

Tutor: Sheila Roussel for Nest Creative Spaces

Mandala is the Sanskrit work for circle and the process of laying out a circular pattern is used in many cultures for meditation, healing and to represent the cycle of life. It’s creative a restful at the same time.

Experience the relaxing process of pattern making using a range of materials such as seasonal dried foliage, flowers, shells, seeds, buttons and feathers. You can choose to arrange the items in concentric circles, geometric patterns, or any design that resonates with you.

You can then take a photo of your design or we can take one and print out your design for you to take away.

Remember that mandalas are not about achieving perfection, allow your creativity to flow and embrace any asymmetry or quirks in your design.

Give it a try and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature as you express your own unique mandala.

Light refreshments included.

If you find you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the space to someone else. Thank you.

The cost of this event is subsidised from the sales made in our remnant shop, helping to keep the cost affordable to all in our community.

Nest is an inclusive organisation and everyone is welcome. If you have any additional needs or require additional support during the workshop please contact us in advance of your booking so we can make sure we are able to provide it.
