Upcycled Tie Necklace

Join Sheila Roussel at this upcycling workshop where you will transform a pre-loved tie into a stylish necklace.

We will start with a demonstration of the process. There will be hands-on support throughout the workshop which will include using a sewing machine.

There will be a selection of ties for you to choose from that are pre-prepared having been taken apart, washed and ironed ready for your use. 

If you have a tie that you’d like to bring along to use, please prepare it in advance by unpicking the stitches and removing the tie lining, then open it out and give it a press.

All materials for the workshop are provided for you from our remnant shop, which is stocked from donated arts & crafts materials, keeping them out of landfill and promoting reuse.

Light refreshments included.
