Glass Etching

Why not try something a little different at this creative NEST workshop and discover the art of glass etching? In this relaxed, hands-on session you’ll learn how to transform an ordinary piece of glass into a beautifully personalised design.

During the workshop you will use specialist etching cream and resist materials to decorate a clear glass that will be provided and choose your design from a selection of shapes and patterns we’ll have ready for you.

You’ll be guided through the process of transferring your design onto the resist material and carefully cutting it out using a craft knife before applying the etching cream. Simple, bold designs work best and create striking results, so no previous experience is needed.

Vinyl gloves, safety goggles, aprons and masks will be provided for use at the workshop.

At the end of the session, your finished etched glass piece will be ready to take home and enjoy – a unique item you’ve created yourself.

Light refreshments are included.
