Beginners Learn to Sew: 3 Weeks

Tis course is for absolute beginners to sewing. Run over 3 weeks on Sunday 2nd, 9th & 16th August.

The event is free to attend as it has been funded by the PKC Fairer Communities Fund.

Would you like to learn to sew? If you’ve never touched a sewing machine, this is the perfect place to start.

Join our friendly 3-week course with talented tutor Clemmie and build your confidence at the sewing machine in a supportive, relaxed setting. Specially designed for complete beginners, the course will guide you through all the essential sewing skills, from threading your machine and understanding fabrics to mastering neat seams and finishing techniques.

Each week, you’ll work on practical household item projects helping you to develop your skills step by step. By the end of the course, you’ll have a strong foundation in sewing and a collection of handmade items to be proud of.

Initial materials and sewing machines will be provided, then Clemmie will discuss options with you for each weekly project.

Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot! All materials provided, or bring your own if you prefer. No experience necessary – just bring your curiosity and creativity.
