Winner: Sundance World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Civil Resistance
Netpol invites you to a FREE screening of "Everybody to Kenmure Street", followed by a panel discussion with local anti-racist organiser Asad Rehman and campaigners involved in anti-raids organising.
In May 2021, a Home Office dawn raid triggered one of the most successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. In Pollokshields, Scotland’s most diverse neighbourhood, hundreds of residents rushed to the streets to stop the deportation of their neighbours.
In 2026, with growing anti-migrant sentiment from the government and the media and a far-right party leading in the polls, how prepared are we to organise this kind of resistance in east London against immigration raids, and against the aggressive policing of these protests?
This event is organised by the Network for Police Monitoring (Netpol) and Clapton Community FC’s Community Outreach Committee
