Qawmena and Atlas for Humanity have come together to bring you a conversation that matters. A lot is changing in UK immigration law, and we thought it essential to get information directly into the hands of our communities, with an official Home Office representative available to share more details and answer your questions.

Why this matters right now

The UK is in the middle of its biggest immigration overhaul in over three decades. Key changes already in force or coming soon include stricter English language requirements for skilled worker visas, a new "earned settlement" system making indefinite leave to remain harder to qualify for, a visa brake restricting certain nationalities, shorter refugee permission grants of 30 months, and tighter sponsorship compliance rules for employers. Many in our communities are directly affected and have limited access to clear, official information.

This is your opportunity to learn more and ask questions that matter most to you.

The £5 ticket helps cover the venue costs. You're welcome to contribute more to support additional event costs and future community programming.
