⚡ How to shift Colonial Patterns and center Equity in Networks - (Peer Coaching Space)
A network's design is never neutral.
Who holds decisions, whose knowledge counts, where resources land — these aren't accidents. They're inherited patterns, shaped by the same systems many of us are trying to move beyond.
You may have written the values statement. Done the land acknowledgment. And still watched the same few people make the calls. Or maybe you're one of those people — with power you want to share and no clear map for how.
This is a space to bring those real, unresolved challenges and work through them together: how to move power, credit, and decision-making out of the margins of your mission statement and into the actual structure of how your network runs.
Bring a situation. Leave with more clarity.

Bring a challenge like…
⚖️ Redistributing decision-making power, not just adding seats at the table
🗺️ Power-mapping your network: who actually decides, who's centered, who's missing
🌍 Decentering Northern defaults: language, time zones, and whose frameworks set the agenda
🔥 Naming and repairing harm when power dynamics surface, without the network falling apart
🪶 Crediting and compensating Indigenous and Global South contributors instead of extracting from them

What you take home is shaped by the challenge and intention you bring in:
✅ Better focus: where power is actually concentrated in your network, and the one place to move it first
✅ Moves others have already tried, whether it's participatory governance, rotating leadership, community-led decisions, or power-mapping
✅ A small crew who get your context: fellow weavers, stewards, and organizers sitting with the same questions, who stay in reach after the sessions end
✅ One next experiment you're ready to run in your own network
