About this course

This course is designed for surgeons that are currently skilled at neurosurgery and already have a good understanding of the basic skills and principles and wish to expand their surgical repertoire to more technical procedures, craniotomy, and spinal stabilizations.

The course will start with the introduction of the globally know invetra™ pedicle screw system and after some theory and sawbone practical, it will be into a day of PSF, fracture management and the versatility of using this system.

Day 2 will then lead into a varying range of topics which are more commonly seen in small dogs. With AA fixation then onto craniotomies and VP shunts. 

The days are highly practical, with a heavy focus on the surgical and 'hands-on' aspect of training. There will be plenty of case discussions involved and all attendees will be prepared with course notes in advance to ensure they make the most of this two-day experience.
