Newark Symphony Orchestra • 60th Season

This season the Newark Symphony Orchestra is marking 60 years of making music for and with our community. To celebrate, we are presenting lively, engaging concerts featuring many of our friends from the University of Delaware, the Delaware Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Newark Symphony Orchestra Chorus and other community choruses, the Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band, and regional professional soloists and composers. We share the stage with students in four of the seven concerts this year. From our opening notes with the University of Delaware trombone choir to the final chords of Respighi’s Pines of Rome with the Chesapeake Silver Cornet Brass Band, this season will sparkle with excitement.
