Moving Words with Little Lion Dance Theatre

‘Moving Words’ is a story-time with live dance performance for early years that combines the art of contemporary dance with reading of selected picture book, with aim of bringing children closer to reading and dancing. Experience an immersive live dance performance by Mirela Romano, integrated with an inclusive movement workshop to celebrate the joy of dance with your little one.

The main activity is the performance of a picture book exclusively by Irish authors, showing illustrations and a dance interpretation that follows the course of the story. In the second part of the performance, there is a planned activity for the children participating, that encourages their creativity in dance, art, and speech expression. Each performance of the Storytime with Live Dance Performance contains the following:

• reading a picture book during live dance performance
• talking to the audience about the story read and their experiences
• an inclusive creative dance workshop leaning on the theme of the picture book

Suitable for children from 3 to 6 years.
