Autumn Concert - Inspired by Sea & Storm

An evocative evening of music inspired by the sea, nature and the human spirit.  Discover the dramatic power of Doreen Carwithen's vibrant overture, experience the shifting moods and elemental beauty of Britten's iconic Four Sea Interludes, and conclude with Dvorak's magnificent Symphony No. 7 - of of the most passionate and powerful symphonies of the Romantic Era.  

Local actor Paddy Lintin joins us to narrate extracts from Peter Grimes before each Sea Interlude. We are delighted to welcome Paddy as our Emerging Artist for Autumn concert series, with generous support from the Newbury Rotary Club
