An overview of both military and household medicine will be included with an emphasis on herbs and other useful plants, as well as a discussion of popular medical books of the period. Please note that this event will be held on the second floor of the historic Amstel House which is accessible only via the main staircase. The Amstel House is located at 2 East 4th Street in Old New Castle. Upon arrival please enter the house through the rear door.
