ABOUT THIS MINI-COURSE
In these divisive times where polarizing conversations can emit an ‘electrical charge’, we see examples of Fight or Flight on all sides. Is there a Third-Way that allows us to remain respectfully present to others who hold opposing views? Three workshops will explore “Servanthood Communication” skills informed by the emptying mindset of Christ described in Philippians 2. By considering the interests of others with humility and curiosity, we’ll have a better chance to sustain conversations and strengthen relationships. A core principle is that when conversations move from a defensive head-zone to an open heart-zone, people tend to connect with each other.
