Artificial Intelligence (AI) is suddenly everywhere, shaping the world around us, changing the ways we work and think and relate, and offering prospects (for better or worse) we struggle to understand and wisely navigate. How are we to think Christianly about AI? What ethical, spiritual or theological questions does it raise for the Church? Does AI have a place in the Church’s life and mission? Come to this in-person presentation by two experts at the intersection of faith and technology, followed by conversation with a panel of pastors and practitioners.

Presenters: Braden Molhoek, PhD & Ted Peters, PhD

Braden Molhoek is the director of the Center for Theology & the Natural Sciences (CTNS) and the Ian G. Barbour Assistant Professor of Theology, Science, Ethics and Technology. CTNS is an affiliated center at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA.

Ted Peters teaches for CTNS and is Emeritus Professor of Systematic Theology and Ethics at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union. He writes for Christian theology, Public Theology on the interaction of science and religion, bioethics, and space ethics.
