In the division's three-plus decades, there have only been four occasions when all three promoted teams stayed up – and when it last happened in 2023, that was also the last time any club from the Championship managed to book a second season in England’s top flight.

On Wednesday, 25 March 2026 at The George IV in Chiswick, New Goal Dream will be celebrating this rare achievement – and a key moment in Queens Park Rangers' history – by revisiting the 2011/2012 season with two players who bucked football gravity and kept the Rs in the top flight in.

Both instrumental in the club's title-winning promotion a season earlier, Jamie Mackie and Shaun Derry became the heartbeat of a side that gave football’s aristocracy as good as it got.

Rebounding from a series of tough moments on the pitch with grit, determination and flair that saw them beat Arsenal and stage one of the greatest ever Loftus Road comebacks against Liverpool – not to mention their unique perspective on that  “Agueroooo” moment – Jamie and Shaun will reveal the individual character, squad culture and football brilliance needed to hold your own with the big boys with behind the scenes stories, personal memories and more.
