Join us for NICOWEEN 2026, our Halloween night with the NIC community, featuring a Costume Contest, games, prizes, snacks, drinks, and the NICOWEEN Makeup Competition People’s Choice Award.

Come dressed to compete, cast your votes, or just enjoy the night.

Open to NIC students and alumni. Friends and family are welcome.

Costume Contest Prizes

• 1st Place — $100
• 2nd Place — $75
• 3rd Place — $50

Anyone attending NICOWEEN may enter. Register as a contestant when you check in. Each attendee receives one Costume Contest vote. Voting closes at approximately 8:30 PM. Winners are announced at 8:45 PM. Group costumes are welcome, but prizes are awarded individually.

Makeup Competition models are not eligible for the Costume Contest.

NICOWEEN MAKEUP COMPETITION

Current NIC Makeup students and graduates will create a Halloween, horror, creepy fantasy character and SFX makeup looks before presenting their finished models during NICOWEEN.

People’s Choice voting begins at approximately 7:30 PM.
Every NICOWEEN attendee is welcome to vote.

Want to compete?
The competition is open to current NIC Makeup students and graduates, with a maximum of 12 competitors.

Each entry consists of:

• One makeup artist
• One adult model

Competitor check-in begins at 2:30 PM, with the competition running from 3:00–7:00 PM.

NICOWEEN Party RSVP

Choose this ticket if you are attending the Halloween Party as a student, graduate, guest, friend, family member or staff member.

Makeup Competition Entry

Choose this ticket only if you are a current NIC Makeup student or graduate entering the Makeup Competition.

Competition entrants will receive additional registration questions.

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 6:15 PM — Doors open + Costume Contest voting begins
• 7:15 PM — Makeup Competition model presentation
• 7:30 PM — People’s Choice voting
• 8:30 PM — Costume Contest voting closes
• 8:45 PM — Winners announced
• 9:30–10:00 PM — Event concludes

Makeup competitors: check-in begins at 2:30 PM and competition runs from 3:00–7:00 PM.

DRINKS + ALCOHOL

Snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and party drinks will be available. Alcohol is available only to attendees 19+ with valid government-issued ID. Eligible attendees may receive up to three alcoholic drinks using drink tickets issued at check-in.

BEFORE YOU COME

• Advance registration is required because capacity is limited.
• Walk-ins may only be accommodated if space permits.
• Costume Contest registration happens at event check-in.
• Avoid realistic weapons, dangerous props, open flames or anything that could create a safety issue.
• Photography and video will be captured during NICOWEEN for New Image College communications.
