Set in the present-day, this production of King Lear: Father and Daughters is faithful to Shakespeare's text but edited and shaped for performance. Lear is reimagined as a powerful tycoon, handing over the reins of his business empire to his daughters. The focus of the play is the family of Lear and the power dynamics played out between father and daughters, and between the three sisters.
