In Person Workshop!  Wand Making for All Ages

$40 for adults  $20 for kids 12 and under

Come enjoy an afternoon of wand creation! Whether for magic or art, you will create a wand that sparkles with personality and power. Ami will bring some examples to showcase the possibilities. All wand materials will be provided including:

• The wand itself (found in Forest Park or the Lincoln City beach) and dried for many weeks. There will be a wide variety to choose from, but you're also welcome to find your own wand to decorate.
• A variety of crystals (adults only)
• Beads of natural stone as well as glass and plastic
• Various threads, yarn and leather to wrap with including some that sparkle
• Feathers
• Sticker jewels, pipe cleaners and pom poms (for the kids, but adults can use them too!)
• Different types of glue

Ami Maki is a Portland-based artist and tattooist who blends art and intuition to craft personalized designs for her clients. As a queer, poly, and neurodivergent individual, she brings a unique perspective to her creative work. She currently tattoos at Dire Wolf Tattoo in Northeast Portland, where she is known for her detailed and expressive style.
