In Person Event! Clearing the Lungs/Grief
Rose Allen, Saturday, October 3, 1:30-3PM, $25
The ancient practice of Qigong (chi kung) serves as a foundation for Traditional Chinese Medicine. As we enter the season of Autumn, the organs of the Lung and Large Intestine are primed for healing. Both are considered organs of elimination. Where might we be holding on too tight – how can we let go? The Lungs hold the emotion of Grief. Utilizing our time together, we consider the presence of sorrow in our own life and in the world. Known as a "moving meditation," we will utilize gentle Qigong forms that will assist to activate and unblock the flow of energy in the body. Utilizing breath and mindful intention, we will take this time to learn a practice of moving that energy and open up the Lungs. We create personal and group healing as we build communal chi. No experience necessary. Chairs provided. Learn more at www.BuildingQi.com
