Our relationship with the mother — whether close, complicated, distant, or absent — can leave a profound imprint on our emotional world.

It may influence how we experience love, safety, nurturing, belonging, self-worth, and our ability to receive care from others and ourselves.

In this deep guided meditation, participants explore the maternal relationship within the larger context of the ancestral tree. Rather than approaching the experience through blame, we look deeper — toward the mother, the women who came before her, and the circumstances and patterns that shaped the maternal line.

The journey creates an opportunity for understanding, emotional release, reconnection, and greater compassion toward both ourselves and our lineage.

Oleksandr Dmytruk is a Portland-based shamanic practitioner, astral healer, Qigong teacher, and founder of ASCEND. His work explores the relationship between ancestral wisdom, energy practices, meditation, and personal transformation.
