Four fun weekly sessions teaching the basics of clowning and physical comedy.
The course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to professional performers.
You’ll learn some classic routines, how to create your own routines and lots of practical techniques that can be used in all types of performance.

Classes are led by Oxford based clown Chris Michael. 
Chris has performed 4000 shows throughout the UK, most recently with his theatre show The Immigrant based on Chaplin’s 1917 original short film.

Course Dates: Wednesdays 18, 25 September and 2, 9 October 2024
Times: 6.00pm to 8.30pm

(If you don't want to attend every session, it is recommended that you should either attend the first session or have attended one of Chris' one off classes before. This is so you can go through the foundational exercises and vocabulary that feed into every class.)

The course is aimed at adults. If you are the parent or guardian of someone under 18 who like to attend please get in touch before booking.

The tutor is insured for public liability and has a current DBS certifcate.
