Dorie Jackson LIVE

Folk / Rock / Prog musician Dorie Jackson is now fronting a dynamic, multi-generational band. They perform a powerful mix of original material drawn from her two solo albums alongside selected songs from the three albums by Kaprekar's Constant, where she shared lead vocal duties.

Her latest release, Stupid Says Run, arrived in January 2025 on Talking Elephant Records. Co-written with members of Kaprekar's Constant, the album showcases Dorie's distinctive songwriting and vocal style, and she is currently touring in support of the record. 

Alongside her solo career, Dorie has built an impressive reputation as a backing vocalist, performing with artists including Chris Difford (Squeeze), Francis Dunnery and Marti Pellow. 

Now, she has stepped into the spotlight with a project that places her captivating voice and songwriting centre stage. 

Her live band features an exceptional lineup, including her father, legendary saxophonist David Jackson (Van der Graaf Generator, Peter Gabriel). The band is completed by fellow Kaprekar's Constant members Mike Westergaard (piano) and Nick Jefferson (bass), alongside acclaimed singer-songwriter Danny Dunnery on guitar and backing vocals.
