A dance and theater piece for a lonely town: New Theater Hollywood will host the Los Angeles premiere of Loneliness Triptych by Mamie Green/Volta. Dark with an edge of humor, the performers transform objects – mattress, a rug, an office chair – into symbols of longing, sexuality and power. Loneliness Triptych prods at what it means to be a body in a world drenched in screens, artificial intelligence, and constant alienation.

The production features a collaborative team including director/choreographer Mamie Green, writers Stephanie Wambugu, Lily Lady, and Sammy Loren, performed by Bella Allen, Mandolin Burns, Anne Kim, Ryan Green, and Ryley Polak, with an original score performed live by Dylan Fujioka.
