Age UK Norwich Charity Golf Day Thursday 12th September 2024

We are looking for teams of four players for this year’s Age UK Norwich Golf Day taking place at –

Rookery Park Golf Club, Beccles Road, Carlton Colville, NR33 8HJ

The proposed details and itinerary are as follows:-

Arrival & Registration

There is free parking available onsite, please enter the facilities through the Club entrance where you will be met by the AUKN Team.

Itinerary

8.30am – Please make a prompt arrival for registration with tea/coffee and bacon rolls

9.10am – Welcome speech

10am – Tee off for 18 holes on the Course (Shotgun Start)

4pm - 2-course meal and presentations in the clubhouse restaurant

Our meal will comprise of beef & ale pie followed by a delicious cheesecake. 

Please inform staff of any dietary requirements on arrival.  The Club Bar will be open for the purchase of soft and alcoholic drinks.

5pm – Presentations

On The Course Refreshments - Will be available through out the day

Additional contributions on the day are optional but welcomed and can be made via cash or card. Every penny raised will go towards AUKN.

Team & Individual Competition

We will be operating a Texas Scramble competition. Prizes for the top three teams plus:-

Putting green competition -  Nearest the Line on the 5th hole - Nearest the Pin on the 9th hole - Beat the Pro on the 14th - 

Buggies will be available for use on the day, weather permitting. They must be reserved and paid for in advance online when booking your team or calling the club pro shop directly on 01502 509190 or emailing golf@nexusramps.co.uk
