We are inviting those with lived experience of the following women’s health conditions - Dysmenorrhea (Pain during menstruation), Fibroids, Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), Endometriosis/Adenomyosis, Menopause, and Infertility - to participate in a confidential (i.e., not recorded, anonymised notes, Chatham House rule) discussion and share their health journey, while connecting with others. The discussion will contribute to the Women’s Health Economics Report - a national study focused on the relationship between investment and women’s health and prosperity across England. The preliminary aim of this research is to build the economic case for continued funding of the Women’s Health Strategy for England 2022, beyond the current two-year span, while driving the need for intersectional gender equity in healthcare more broadly.

The sessions will be taking place at 5.00pm - 6.00pm on the following dates:

  • Thursday 11 January - Fibroids
  • Monday 15 January - Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
  • Tuesday 16 January - Dysmenorrhea (Pain during menstruation) and/or Heavy menstrual bleeding
  • Monday 22 January - Menopause
  • Tuesday 23 January - Endometriosis / Adenomyosis
  • Wednesday 24 January - Infertility

PLEASE NOTE - that these roundtable discussions are specifically designed for individuals with lived experience of the designated condition.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a budget to compensate individuals for their time, but we will certainly keep participants updated on the progress of the report to illustrate the impact of their input.

If the roundtable if fully booked or you are unable to attend, we welcome you to anonymously share your experiences via this survey.
