NRS Infectious Diseases Event
The NHS Research Scotland (NRS) Infectious Diseases Specialty Group is holding a free in-person event that aims to bring together individuals working in clinical, academic, and/or research settings across Scotland to share knowledge, build connections, and promote collaboration in infectious diseases research. Participants may include resident doctors, consultants, nurses, laboratory teams and students.

We welcome abstract submissions via the form below. Successful applicants will be selected for either a short oral “flash” poster presentation or a poster display. There will be a prize for the best oral poster presentation.
NRS Infectious Diseases Event 16th September 2026 - Abstract Submission form
Submissions can be research, quality improvement, audit, or interesting clinical cases, with non-consultant grade presenters particularly encouraged.
The deadline for abstract submission is Monday the 29th of June 2026.
Notification of the outcome will be by email on Monday 13th of July 2026.
