The Bonfire Sessions: Cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Look into the Fire. What do you see?

For our final session of the year, we will be lighting the beacons, burning the effigies, and dancing through the devil-white flames into the long dark nights. Come with us.

Liverpool singer-songwriter NICK ELLIS invites you to join him for the his last, intimate performance of 2022.

At Nomad, Nick will play host to a unique presentation of his musical tapestry, song craft, mod-folk and street-scape narrative noir, that will draw from his recent and forthcoming album releases, instrumental work, theatre projects, writing collaborations and film-score composition.

Gracing us with lysergic soft ballad, Kafka-esque melody, and Shire-Noir story puzzle, we welcome one of our greatest and most treasured songwriters, DOMINOES. With a voice hailing from the winding hills of Yorkshire and weathered by the sea rains of the River Mersey, DOMINOES is the missing link between thought and expression.

Performing two bespoke spoken word pieces, created for our event, is Liverpool poet, writer and performer, ST. VESPALUUS.  The Saint is one of the City's best kept secrets, responsible for helping spearhead the vibrant, thriving word-scene that is currently gathering momentum in Liverpool. ST. VESPALUUS also runs monthly poetry/spoken word gathering BLAST! and we are honoured to have him perform.

Sounds will be provided by our guest DJ, ROY (VIOLETTE). Liverpool writer and spoken word artist, ROY, will be digging deep into his collection of harmony-potent acid-folk, sun-fried sunshine pop, mind warped orchestral psych and a dangerous dose of double-drop West-Coast ballad-funk. We spin vinyl, and vinyl only. Because, that's how we roll.

Art: Our graceful 'Ballet Ghost' poster art was designed by ED RIMMER. This poster, along with the previous 'Ballet Trip' designs from our Summer Sessions run, will be available as a very limited run, signed by the artist, very soon.
