Meetings Without Masks

Designed by Jan Day. Led by Jason Porthouse, with Rosie Kyeremateng. (As Nicola is taking a break for health reasons).

VENUE The Constructive Teaching Centre (Alexander Technique) 13, Imperial Wharf the Boulevard, 13 The Blvd, London SW6 2UB

A dating event with a difference.
Instead of superficiality, competition and fakery.
Try kindness, openness, playfulness and curiosity.

Are you longing for deeper, more meaningful connections but find traditional dating disappointing?

So where and how do we find and meet each other in a different way?

Why not try a different approach?

Introducing MEETINGS WITHOUT MASKS.

Meetings Without Masks is a fresh, heart-centered alternative—a day dedicated to meeting others with authenticity, curiosity, and openness. “The thinking man's alternative to speed dating" is how one man described it.

Designed by relationship expert Jan Day and facilitated Jason Porthouse with Rosie Kyeremateng , this immersive conscious dating workshop invites you to step beyond small talk and explore real, engaging connections. Through a series of fun, creative exercises—including conversation, movement, and play—you’ll have opportunities to be present, and truly connect with others in a safe, supportive space. We aim for a mix of genders.

The event has been specifically developed to provide a very different kind of experience for people who are looking for love and partnership. It has been running for over 10 years and the name predates the mask wearing of the COVID-19 era.

Whether you meet a date or not, it is a great opportunity to enjoy, explore, laugh, expand and maybe risk, being a little (or a lot!) more open and human and alive.

What people say about Meetings Without Masks:

"I really felt how tense the group was at the beginning, and how soft they became during the day. We were invited us to try as many different connections with different people as possible, which was lovely, and stopped me limiting myself. It could have been like speed dating but it wasn't. The invitation was different. It was just to explore whatever connection you had with each person. I had some very moving moments with men I wouldn't have met otherwise." *Tania*

"I found the day itself very refreshing. I really liked the one to one work and the small groups. It was very different to anything that I have done before. I thoroughly enjoyed it." *Paul*

"I had a tremendously enjoyable day and learnt a lot about what I want out of relationships. The day was challenging at times but always interesting, open-hearted and compelling." *Tania Ahsan, Editor 'Kindred Spirit'*

"I felt cared for during the day. I loved the one to one meetings, and the mixture of choice and chance involved. I met a woman whom I'm seeing at the moment, and am very happy to have met her." *Hardeep*
