Have you ever been mistaken for a different sex, or a different person? Have you ever pretended to be someone you are not? What’s the story of your name?

What are the different faces we show to the world? Who are we really behind the façade, the labels, beyond our masks and names?

Come see Nickie and Simone, the improv duo Vice Versa*, perform their show that delves into these questions and more…

“What’s in a Name?”
An improvised play in 2 and ½ acts

On Sunday 15th March 2026 — 7:30 pm (Doors open at 7:15 pm)
At The Sister Brussels Café (first floor)

Admission is free, but seating is limited—so booking is required. The venue is kindly providing the space, so we ask that attendees support them by ordering food or drinks before the show starts.

* The improv duo Vice Versa is made up of Irishwoman Nicola Lennon and Italian man Simone Benazzo. They met in early 2024 during the Impro Brussels deep dive into improvised Chekhov. After performing in the end-of-course show directed by Desi Krsteva, they started their duo journey together and created an original format they called “What’s in a Name?” As two foreigners living in a foreign city, they had both experienced similar confusion regarding their birth names often being addressed as the opposite sex. After working on the format, rehearsing it for a year, and with some coaching from Impro Brussels’s artistic director, Pierpaolo Buzza, they performed their first show in Brussels in June 2025 to a full house!
