Book Club – Book of the Month – May 2027
As part of Season 27 of Nicola’s Book Club, the book we will read for our June 2027 meeting is:
- “The Whispering Trees” by Abubakar Adam Ibrahim (Nigeria)
The discussion will take place online on Thursday, 3 June 2027 from 19:30-21:00 (CEST).
Unlike novels, short stories are like a snapshot of life. So, instead of the elements we usually focus on, namely plot & character development and writing style & length, we encourage our readers to focus on the details, then pick their favourite ones and be ready to share with the group the reasons why they like them.
