NCL Fundraising Gala 2025

This event holds great importance for our community as it not only celebrates our cultural heritage but also serves as a platform for collective action. This year’s theme, "Building Our Future: A Home for Nigerian Heritage in Leeds," focuses on two key objectives:

1. Raising funds for the establishment of a Nigerian House in Leeds, which will be essential for promoting Nigerian culture and supporting community development.

2. Honoring the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Cllr Abigail Katung, a remarkable figure who represents the pride and resilience of Nigerians living abroad.

We are honoured to have Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah (Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Nigeria) as our Keynote speaker at this event. 

The evening will feature a vibrant array of performances, thought-provoking discussions, and opportunities for networking, all aimed at reinforcing our community connections and pursuing our shared goals.
