Description
Haux Haux dear family
We are so excited to welcome Kawá Huni Kuin back to Manchester and invite you to a magical evening and rare opportunity to open our hearts with prayer, music and force of the Amazon rainforest. Kawá will share some sacred songs of his people as well as the sacred medicine of Rapéh ("hapé").
The HUNI KUIN (Kaxinawá) are an ethnic group based in the lowland Amazon rainforest in the state of Acre, Brazil. They speak their own language called Hatxa Kuin and have a longstanding tradition of working with ancestral medicines such as Rume (Rapéh), Kampum (Kambô) and Nixi Pae (Ayahuasca).Huni Kuin songs are prayers invoking the forces of spirits of the forest and the sacred medicines. These powerful songs of joy bring us physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Singing and listening to these ancient prayers lifts our spirits and manifests healing.
