Public Involvement in Health Research: What Matters to You?
Sat 23 Mar 2024 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
George Davies Centre, LE1 7AH
Description
Come and hear about the ongoing health improvement research within the Leicester BRC, have your questions answered, meet the researchers personally and find out how your input can contribute to the success of these studies.
Light refreshments will be served. Public parking is available at Victoria Park but there is limited disabled parking available to blue badge holders.
We also have some new studies who need your help. We will be holding sessions with the researchers and would love people to sign up for them.
These research areas include:
Young adults living with and beyond cancer, ECG and heart conditions, treating anxiety in stroke survivors, asthma conditions, oral health in ethnic minority communities, high blood pressure and enhancing inclusion and diversity in health research.
For more information on the event and the studies mentioned, please see You’re invited to our Public Involvement in Health Research Event - NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre
If you are interested in attending any of these sessions, please click "yes" against the appropriate ones on the next page. Please only pick two as we are only able to run each session twice. Thank you
