Hello, my name is Niki and I'm a Printmaker in Porthtowan, Cornwall, I work mainly in linocut and for this workshop will be collaborating with Sarah Jane Keyworth Art. Sarah and I both grew up on the East coast but have landed down in Cornwall where we regularly get together to discuss all things printerly. 

Sarah - 'My interest and inspiration lies in people and in the environment that refreshes, invigorates and rejuvenates. I walk, sketch, experience the atmosphere of coast and countryside and endeavour to capture something of it in my work, either painting or printmaking. I am also inspired by old photographs of land and sea workers, and often used them as a starting point for work.' More about Sarah here Linktree

This will be a relaxed and creative session. We'll be printing with and without a press to create multilayered prints. Sarah and I have been working around a seaside theme as we're both drawn to the sea and its colours but you can go in any direction you like.

If you have any issues which you feel will need extra support on the day please let me know beforehand so that I can bring appropriate resources.

Timings
Please do not arrive before 9.30, the first 15 minutes will be a chance to get a cuppa and say hello, browse the resources and get settled.

What to bring
My intention is for you to be a neat and tidy printer BUT it may be an idea to bring an apron or at least wear old clothes, just in case that ink ends up where it shouldn't! Feel free to bring books, tools and anything else that you may have already. All tools and resources are provided but I know some people like to try things out that they have had in the back of the cupboard for a while. Please also bring a bag to carry your work home, a plastic one if it's raining!

We'll have tea, coffee and biscuits but feel free to bring your own too.

Please pay within 24 hours of your booking.

Refunds
I will offer a full refund up to a month before the event. After that a full refund (minus ticket site fees) if I can fill the place.
