Harvest Inward - Qigong & Sound retreat

Sun Sep 6, 2026 10:00 - 12:30 BST Cowdray Hall, GU29 0AW

With a new moon on September 6th (known as the "Corn moon") in the spiritual sign of Pisces, we find ourselves between seasons. To honor this transition, we invite you to a gentle morning retreat blending flowing Qigong movement with an immersive sound healing experience, designed to promote relaxation, energy flow, and mental clarity. Whether you are completely new to Qigong or have never experienced a sound bath, you are warmly welcome.

Sue from Surrey Hills Qigong and Nikki Leader have been practising their chosen art for many years and hold a light, relaxed, and balanced space, supporting you to release stress, re-ground your roots, and return to a sense of ease.

THE EXPERIENCE

You will be held in a nurturing space of free-flowing Qigong movements, designed around the rhythms of the seasons, gently moving the energy channels that may have been in bloom over the summer.

After the movement session, we will enjoy healthy snacks and tea, allowing time to integrate before resting into a deeply relaxing sound bath. Nikki will guide you into a state of deep receiving using crystal and himalayan bowls, chimes, and her voice, supporting the nervous system to soften allowing the body to restore its energy.

WHO THIS RETREAT IS ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR

This retreat is especially supportive for anyone feeling tired, overwhelmed, disconnected, or in transition, and for those wishing to gently reconnect with their body, breath, and inner calm. It is ideal if you are seeking deep relaxation, nervous system reset, emotional balance, or a seasonal re-alignment as we move into spring.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You can expect a slow, nurturing morning held in a relaxed and welcoming space. Gentle Qigong movements will support circulation, energy flow, and grounding, followed by time to rest and integrate before receiving a deeply calming sound bath.
No prior experience is needed, just come as you are and allow yourself to be guided into rest, renewal, and clarity.
