Inner Listening - Qigong & Sound retreat

Sun Nov 29, 2026 10:00 - 12:30 GMT Cowdray Hall, GU29 0AW

As we move towards the quiet of winter, nature reminds us that we don’t always need to keep doing. Sometimes we need to pause, turn inward and listen.

Inner Listening is a gentle morning retreat combining flowing Qigong with an immersive sound bath - creating space to slow down, reconnect with yourself and settle into the quieter rhythm of the season.

Come as you are. Leave feeling calmer, lighter and more deeply rested.

Sue from Surrey Hills Qigong and Nikki Leader have been practising their chosen art for many years and create a warm, relaxed and nurturing space in which to unwind, reconnect and simply be.

THE EXPERIENCE

We’ll begin with slow, flowing Qigong inspired by the Water phase and the deep quiet of winter - a season that invites us to turn inward, conserve our energy and listen more closely to the wisdom of the body.

Through gentle movement, breath and moments of stillness, Sue will guide you out of the busy mind and back into the body - creating space to notice what you need, soften, and reconnect with your own inner rhythm.

After the movement session, we’ll pause for tea and nourishing snacks, allowing time to settle and integrate before resting into a deeply relaxing sound bath.

Nikki will weave crystal and Himalayan bowls, chimes and voice into an immersive soundscape, inviting you to rest, receive and let go.
