Summer Songs is an hour of playful vocal improvisation, co-composing and circle singing for all voices. Held in nature on Hillyfields and grounded in presence and listening, each session takes its own unique form as we connect through our voices, to ourselves, each other and our environment. You will be warmly supported through Nina’s facilitation to create spontaneous co-composed music together, and encouraged to simply enjoy using your voice to create with others while working within your own capacity on the day. This is a drop-in event that is open to all levels of experience and musical ability.

Nina Perry is an interdisciplinary artist and coach who loves to sing and improvise in good company. She's created songs since childhood, and has composed music professionally for several decades. Nina’s approach to vocal improvisation builds upon her psychophysical embodied voice practice, a joyful way to deepen her relationship with her voice, and a creative resource that supports health and wellbeing.
