NKY Works in partnership with the NKY Chamber of Commerce and Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Foundation presents:
Skills-Based Hiring for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses
Competing for talent in today’s market can be challenging. Hiring people with the right skills saves businesses time and money. This virtual learning opportunity helps employers align their hiring process to attract candidates with the necessary skills for open roles.
Over two, 90-minute sessions, participants will learn how to:
- Identify and define the skills needed for specific roles
- Write job descriptions that reflect real competencies
- Design a skills-based interview process
- Select candidates based on demonstrated ability
- Onboard and develop new hires using skills-based practices
Price: $99 for two 90-minute sessions (3 hours total)*
This program is open to organizations with 500 or fewer full-time employees. HR staff, hiring managers and/or senior executives are encouraged to participate.
Two sessions are available.
Participants are expected to attend both sessions or review session recordings. All participants can access on-demand learning to reinforce concepts and share takeaways with colleagues.
