Description
32 sculptures. 2 months. 6.5 acres of wild grassland. Welcome to WINTER SCULPTURE PARK 2025, The Opening Party.
Celebrate the launch of WINTER SCULPTURE PARK 2025 with us at The Opening Party, a day long festivity platforming artists from across the UK and showcasing the breadth of talent available across the public art scene. We’ll be welcoming you to a new site this year with a musical line up from SET’s DJ transit van, DIY workshops and unexpected performances throughout the day.
View Thamesmead’s new Community Sculpture made in partnership with Communal Clay and the residents of Thamesmead. If you’re interested in contributing head to our website to find out more about the Community Sculpture Clay Workshops happening throughout February 2025.
Take part in a selection of drop-in workshops including Wildflower Seed Bomb Making where you can make your own clay-based seed bomb containing indigenous wildflower seeds carefully selected by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust working in Thamesmead to protect rare, endangered bee species. Or show your support for our campaign for everyday discovery by making a REWILD THE ARTS badge at our badge station.
Unexpected happenings will be popping up throughout the day from a host of performers.
The full Artist and Performer line-up will be announced soon! For now, secure your space at the party with a ticket.
