Join us for a wonderful session as we welcome back the hajji's from hajj with storytelling! 

What's included: Stories with our dear Jumana Moon and an activity.

Date: Saturday 13th June 2026 

Venue: Ashford & Staines Community Centre, 774 London Road, TW14 8FP

Session 1 — Ages 8 to 13: 

11:30am – 1:15pm (parents are welcome to stay)
Activity: Islamic Geometric Canvas Painting 

Session 2 — Parent & child (age 7 & under):
1:45pm – 2:45pm
Activity: Create a Kindness Garden

Parking Note: If the car park is full, kindly park sensibly on Short Lane or in the permitted lay-bys on the A30. Jazak Allah khayran!

About Jumana Moon

Jumana Moon is a talented storyteller with a special interest in stories from Islamic tradition. She is the founder of the Hud Hud Storytelling School and has shared her craft in schools, universities, museums, festivals, and cultural events.

Her work includes a British Muslim TV series titled ‘Legend Has It,’ which explores Islamic storytelling. Jumana also co-runs Stowtellers, an East London storytelling club, and works as a child psychotherapist in a primary school. She believes in the power of stories to inspire, build communities, and foster creativity for both children and adults alike.
