POCIS of Northern California Regional Conference

Join us for the 2026 People of Color in Independent Schools (PoCIS) of Northern California Regional Conference, a transformative day of learning, connection, and community building.

The day will include:

• A Key Note Presentation from writer, leader, teacher, coach and podcaster, Elena Aguilar.
• Engaging workshops facilitated by educators of color, designed to deepen understanding and foster skill-building for creating inclusive communities. (submit a workshop proposal by January 9)
• Networking opportunities with fellow educators and advocates.
• Community healing and processing spaces to reflect and recharge in a supportive environment.
• A social hour to conclude the day with connection and camaraderie.

Tickets include a light breakfast, lunch, and social hour. PoCIS is committed to making this conference accessible to all. If the cost of attendance is a barrier, please email events@nocapocis.org to request a fee waiver.
