About this workshop
As the Agile movement approaches its 25th anniversary, many of us feel the wear and tear of Agile idealism in the current age of post-information and AI.
In an attempt to collectively rethink what it means to be Agile and how Agile approaches and frameworks remain to be part of the answer to the challenges of our times, Noel Warnell and Francis Laleman have come up with the DAO project. This is a series of delicate Agile observations referencing the ancient wisdom of the Tao Te Ching (Dàodé Jīng) by Lao-Tzu and shared with the community in the shape of a series of podcasts with community members, and this workshop.
The whole project aspires to result in a book based on the conversations that emerge from the podcasts and the workshop.
Here's your invitation to contribute to the DAO project.
What You’ll learn
Essentials and practice of community barn (lumbung) architecture.
How to use and contribute to conversational formats based on questions rather than answers.
How to develop a DAO for yourself, with your teams, in your organization, in your communities
This is for you if
You are an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, workshop designer, facilitator, teacher, trainer, community architect, social worker, educator, or you are just yourself and this sounds like something you’d like to do
You are eager to contribute to the global Agile community in a meaningful way
You are not someone taking things for granted and you are not the one to have all the answers
You are eager to bring yourself and the organization you represent into the DAO project.
All participants and the organizations they represent will be mentioned and recognized as contributors in the ensuing DAO book (scheduled 2025).
This workshop is designed and facilitated by Noel Warnell and Francis Laleman. You can watch us chatting about this project here.
