Noire - Rope & Sensory Play Jam for People of Colour - May

Noire, is an organisation dedicated to celebrating kink in the POC community by providing a safe, supportive and fun space where people of colour, POC can play, explore and express themselves without judgement.

Explore and learn techniques to play with the 5 senses to elevate your kinky play sessions. This will be an interactive workshop led by the Anomalii team, hosts of an acclaimed black focussed kink event. 

Sensory deprivation is a form of BDSM play where a person's senses are limited or intensified through various means such as blindfolding and rope bondage. This allows you to play with control and vulnerability as your forced to focus more intensely on the sensations. Sensory deprivation heightens the senses and when used along side power dynamics, can make thrilling experiences.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn alongside the likeminded, observe a demonstration, have time to get one on one instructions and practice your new found skills. Great for the experienced and newbies alike.

Singles, couples or groups of friends are welcome. 

After the workshop, the venue will be open for free tying and related play, for new and experienced attendees alike. Zuberi will be at hand to offer advice and guidance if required.

Schedule:
- Doors open at 6:30pm
- Introduction and workshop with Anomalii from 7 to 8:30pm
- Open tying and socialising from 8:30pm to 11:00pm
- Doors close at 11:00pm

About Zuberi

Zuberi (he/him) draws from a rich mix of martial arts, tantra, and shiatsu to shape his unique approach to rope. Since discovering shibari/kinbaku in 2014, he’s explored a wide range of styles—from the traditional teachings of Naka Akira to the modern interpretations of Fred Hatt, and plenty in between. His curiosity and passion for growth keep him learning and excited to share what he discovers.

As a Black British shibari practitioner of African heritage, Zuberi is dedicated to creating sex-positive, body-positive spaces within the community, including the POC community where everyone feels seen, respected, and included.
