This is one of our more challenging adventures, so we'll be keeping the group small to ensure everyone gets the support they need. You'll be led by two professional mountain guides, giving you extra guidance, reassurance, and a safer, more enjoyable experience throughout the day. Men also welcome to join!

Your safety is our priority, so this hike will only go ahead if the weather conditions are suitable. If the forecast isn't safe for Striding Edge, we'll move the hike to Sunday 6th September where possible. If the conditions still aren't right, you'll receive a full refund.

📍 Glenridding Main Car Park – the standard starting point for Helvellyn via Striding Edge. Glenridding Car Park

Meeting point: Meet at the entrance to the car park by the Ullswater Information Centre.

Arrival time: I recommend asking everyone to arrive 15–20 minutes before the walk starts, as the car park fills up very quickly, especially on weekends.
