NOMA Art: Handmade for Christmas at Askham Hall

We’re excited to be part of something new at Askham Hall this Christmas!

Handmade for Christmas is a festive overnight escape combining Christmas card lino printing with NOMA Art, wreath-making, seasonal food and a lovely stay at Askham Hall.

Begin with tea, coffee and mince pies before joining Juno and Gemma from NOMA Art for a relaxed Christmas lino-printing session. We’ll show you how to design and hand-print your own collection of Christmas cards to take home.

After a restful night and a leisurely Cumbrian breakfast, you’ll return to the Hall for a festive wreath-making experience with Askham Hall’s Head Gardener, Diane Butcher. Using seasonal foliage and natural materials inspired by the gardens, you’ll create your own beautiful wreath before enjoying a two-course lunch with a glass of wine.

There will also be seasonal refreshments throughout the experience, including scones, sandwiches, tea and coffee on the second day.

It’s a lovely way to get creative, enjoy some time away and make a few special handmade gifts and decorations ahead of Christmas.
