COVID-19 has moved learning online. You may have already been delivering webinars and want to hone your skills. How to Teach Online is designed to give you the knowledge and tools you need to deliver online learning that makes a difference.
Over three 90-minute online sessions, you will learn from three nationally-known experts on workshop design, leadership, and learning. You will receive materials and assignments before and after each session to give you a way to practice what you learn and 8 weeks access to the session recordings. You will complete this series with a “no fail” framework for any online class, an approach to instruction that is engaging and effective, and tools to live your commitment to diversity and inclusion. The series will be moderated by Nancy Bacon, a veteran nonprofit educator who believes that every nonprofit learning experience should be excellent and action-focused.

Week 3: Everyone Belongs Online Learning

Arthur Padilla is Senior Managing Partner for StrataG̅.Works a Seattle/Arizona firm where we provide support for individuals, agencies, and small businesses that are experiencing change. We use executive coaching, planning and project management, interim management, and online learning to implement our change management strategies. We use a social justice/anti-oppression framework for all of our work, from policy development to online learning. Our current Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work include executive coaching (4 to 6 people cohorts), developing courses for the University of Alaska, evaluating the YWCA USA’s new curriculum for young women of color (a 3 year pilot), and Interm Senior Management for a local home care provider during their recent merger.
