Norfolk Care Leaders Summit

Thu 14 May 2026 10:00 AM - 4:45 PM The King's Centre, NR1 1PH

The Norfolk Care Leaders Summit is an in-person event led by social care leaders, focused on collaboration.

A space for social care leaders to connect, collaborate and share practical solutions.

This is not a typical conference. There are no speakers on a stage, no slides, and no pre-set agenda designed by a planning group. Instead, it’s a space for the Norfolk care community to think together – openly, honestly, and as equals.

What to expect

A different kind of conversation: We’ll start with a wide range of seeded topics - the issues that are already live across the sector, from workforce and finance to commissioning and inspection. But the agenda is yours to shape. Using an open space format, you’ll have the freedom to add topics that matter most to you, and the sessions that carry the most energy will determine where the day goes.

Why attend?

  • Connect with other providers in a genuine, peer‑led environment.
  • Share your real challenges and hear what’s working for others.
  • Help shape the agenda - your voice determines the conversations.
  • Work alongside commissioners as equals on the issues that affect us all.
  • Leave with ideas, relationships, and a sense of shared direction.

Some of the topics we'll discuss (and you can add your own on the day):

  • Finding and keeping the people we need: Honest conversations about recruitment, retention and what is actually working.
  • Living with the commissioning frameworks: What is working, what isn't, and what needs to change.
  • Making the money work: Financial sustainability, diversifying income and managing rising costs in a difficult environment.
  • Is it rocket science? Sharing ideas that have made a real difference and building a model that makes this easier.
  • Stronger together - building peer support: Shared resource and a more connected provider community across Norfolk
  • Shame, shock and shouldn’t be allowed: Productive social care campaigning approaches.

This is an in-person event, being held at The Kings Centre, 63-75 Kings Street, Norwich, NR1 1PH.
