Haunted Halsted Costume Contest

Be a part of the 30th Annual Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade! Every year over 500 spirted costumes compete for over $4,000 in cash prizes in 5 categories, this year it could be you!

This year, to help streamline the check-in process, you can pick up your number bib during the Haunted Halsted Fest (Haunted Halsted Fest will take place from Cornelia to Aldine starting at 11am) . There will be a check in booth located with in the Fest footprint, where you will scan your QR code "ticket". Make sure to wear your number bib in a prominent manner before and during the parade.

Each $5 Entry fee guarentees a single particpation in the Haunted Halsted Costume Contest. Each person in your group must have a "ticket" in order to receive a number bib for the contest. If capacity allows, you may be add addtional particpants to your group when you check-in onsite. 

YOU MUST RETRIEVE YOUR COSTUME NUMBER BEFORE 6PM TO GUARANTEE ENTRY TO THE COSTUME CONTEST. Late entries may not be accepted due to capacity. 

• Check In Location: Halsted & Belmont 11am-6pm
• Parade Line Up: 6pm-7pm
• Parade Start at: 7:00pm, proceeds north to The U-Park it Lot- 3514 N. Halsted (near Brompton)
• Awards Show at 8:30pm: U-Park it Lot- 3514 N. Halsted (contestants must be present to win)
• You may change your category at check in BEFORE issued a bib number
• Parade will go on despite weather conditions; there will not be a rain date

Ticket refund requests honored through 11:59 pm Thursday, Oct 29th. No refund requests accepted after that date.
